World of Tanks AT 8 - 6 Kills 4,5K Damage

Medals received: Steel Wall, High Caliber, Top Gun

The AT 8 is a British tier 6 tank destroyer.

The vehicle was conceived as a breakthrough tank. The design project was prepared on May 29, 1943. No prototypes were built, because Nuffield proposed other projects that eventually saw the development of the A39 Tortoise.

The AT 8 is a natural progression from its predecessor, the AT 2. Unfortunately, many of its stats are near identical such as traverse speed and engine power. The main feature of the AT 8 is an improved cannon with twice the alpha damage, improved penetration, and good damage per minute. The AT 8 has many flaws, including poor mobility and top speed, a large commanders cupola, and very poor gun depression and gun arc. Nonetheless the accurate high DPM gun, the large HP pool, and armour that will still bounce its share of shots of range make the AT 8 a dangerous defender.

The AT 8 leads to the AT 7.

World of Tanks Object 430 - 6 Kills 9,7K Damage

Medals received: Confederate, High Caliber, Top Gun

The Object 430 is a Soviet tier 9 medium tank.

A prototype of this medium tank was developed from 1953 through 1957 to replace the T-54. Soviet authorities wanted a tank with greater nuclear survivability and firepower, so in 1961 the project was discontinued in favor of the Object 432. Several prototypes of the vehicle were manufactured.

The Object 430 leads to the Object 430U.

World of Tanks SU-100Y - 9 Kills 4,1K Damage

Medals received: Radley-Walters' Medal, High Caliber, Top Gun

The SU-100Y is a Soviet tier 6 premium tank destroyer.

Developed on the basis of the T-100 heavy tank. The vehicle was intended to neutralize fortified emplacements and enemy vehicles, and was equipped with the improved B-13-S2 naval gun. The only prototype was manufactured in March 1940. The vehicle never entered mass production.

The SU-100Y is a very large tank for its tier, larger than even some tier VIII heavy tanks. The SU-100Y has a devastating 130mm gun that, with a Gun Rammer and 100% crew, loads in less than 14 seconds, dealing an average of 440 damage a shell. It is also very mobile for its size, but unfortunately has next to no armor to cover its massive profile. The SU-100Y is sometimes referred to as the "boxtank".

World of Tanks T25/2 - 5 Kills 5,1K Damage

Medals received: High Caliber

The T25/2 is an American tier 7 turreted tank destroyer.

A project for a tank destroyer with a full-rotation turret and 90-mm gun on the T23 tank chassis proposed in 1943. No prototypes were manufactured, because the T23 tank and its modifications never entered mass production due to the end of war and vehicles with electric transmission falling out of favor.

When fully upgraded, the T25/2 has similar speed and maneuverability to the T25 AT. However, unlike the T25 AT, the T25/2's turret cannot mount the powerful 105 mm AT Gun T5E1. The combination of only being able to use the 90 mm AT Gun T15E2 gun along with poor armor limits the T25/2 to the second line on the battlefield. The T25/2 does get a fully enclosed turret upgrade, which increases its ability to withstand HE and artillery rounds. Using your speed to get into positions and provide fire support to your allies quickly while avoiding enemy fire is key to playing this tank destroyer.

The T25/2 leads to the T28 Prototype.

World of Tanks KV-1 - 11 Kills 3,2K Damage

Medals received: Pool's Medal, High Caliber, Top Gun

The KV-1 is a Soviet tier 5 heavy tank.

Development started at the end of 1938. A prototype was produced in August 1939. The vehicle first saw combat in December 1939 at the Mannerheim Line. The tank was mass-produced from March 1940 through August 1942, with a total of 2,769 vehicles manufactured.

Most novice players will find the KV-1's playing style significantly different from what they are used to, having just come out of the T-28 medium tank. At stock, armed with the adequate 76mm ZiS-5, it is very slow, and certainly not agile. Consider mounting the 57mm 413 if you enjoy a fast fire rate with decent penetration. The KV-1 with the 122mm U-11 gun firing HE shells can be a surprisingly fun tank to play, but don't expect to be doing much when you get thrown in with the big boys battles.

It's one of the tanks new players should definitely learn to kill as the same weak spots are shared with other tanks in the KV family. Frontal weak-spots include the flat plate directly below the turret and the lower plate below the heavily sloped mid section, and shots to the side and rear will penetrate the flat 60mm armoring fairly consistently.

This tank used to be combined with the KV-2 in the removed KV tank.

The KV-1 leads to the T-150, the KV-2, and the KV-1S.

World of Tanks TVP T 50/51 - 6 Kills 9,9K Damage

Medals received: High Caliber, Top Gun

The TVP T 50/51 is a Czechoslovakian tier 10 medium tank.

A joint project by Škoda and ČKD. Discussions to determine the tank’s characteristics started on January 14, 1950, but the project was discontinued on March 4, 1950 by the Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defense. No prototypes were manufactured. Existed only in blueprints.

The TVP is very fast and mobile, has a low full magazine reload (compared to other tier 10 autoloaders) and an insane reload between each magazine. The tank is often compared to the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t as they both share the same lowest hit points of any tier 10, both have dangerous autoloaders and are both very fast; both excel in certain categories. For instance the BatChat has much more magazine potential damage (1950) while the TVP only has a (1280) magazine potetinial. You might think that the BatChat is a clear winner but although the BatChat can deal more damage, it does it over a longer period of time (10.73 seconds from the first shot) while the TVP on the other hand deals its full magazine out in only 4.5 seconds from the first shot. 4.5 seconds is quicker than every other non-autoloader tier 10 tank in the game. So if you shoot a TVP and you are not equipped in an autoloader, then expect 1280 of your hit points gone before you can even get a chance to fire another shell back at it (unless you can get in cover of course).

The gun is what makes the tank, it's fast, it's accurate and the full magazine reload is not bad at all.

The TVP is a tricky tank to play but in the hands of a skilled player it can be your worst nightmare.

The TVP T 50/51 marks the end of its Czechoslovakian medium line.
